Awakening Women Hey sisters, are you ready for 2008? You better be because this is going to be one intense year. And your participation is needed. When I travel around meeting with all you wonderful women, I know that we can co-create the most amazing dance. Together. For all. There is no doubt in my heart, and that is how I gather strength and passion to keep going , because I know it will happen. I don’t know how, but I make my self available to be used by the One that knows how. My body my voice, my hands and actions, I offer it to That. And I am not alone. So much feminine healing power, so much wisdom in you my sister, it brings me to tears. When we move deeply into an inquiry about who we are and what it means to be alive, then the ways to manifest a world that reflects that depth will automatically come to us. Thinking shallowly, we manifest shallowly. Ultimately, nature does not support a shallow existence, because that is a repudiation of our own magnificence. Marianne Williamson This year we will touch thousands of women and through them hundreds of thousand people, and through them… it is limitless as the one heart that we are. Get on board. Be the magnificence of who you truly are, and share it. I am so passionate about this topic that my next years schedule will be very much focused on how we can support women in getting beyond the outdated excuses and limited believes, and to step out and share their gifts. The Wild Love website is going through a total make over as we speak (the new name of our organization is Awakening Women), we are launching an academy for feminine leadership (first training is happening in April), I will offer more time for one- and- one coaching in how to not only grow into the magnificence of who you are, but also in practical ways of how to do it. Awakening Women will also participate in projects empowering girls and women in development countries, and you will be invited to actively participate in this. This only a taste of what is cooking here in our office, I will tell you more as we go. As always I love to hear from you, and I love to have your writings in our newsletter, share yourself! The kind of love we need now… We need a love that fairly dances in us. Love is not a passive emotion; it’s participatory or it’s nothing. It’s not something you just feel; it’s something you do. Goddess Lakshmi, also known as Shri, is personified not only as the goddess of fortune and wealth but also as an embodiment of beauty, grace and charm. She is worshipped as a goddess who grants both worldly prosperity as well as liberation from the cycle of life and death. Physically Goddess Lakshmi is described as a fair lady, with four arms, seated on a lotus, dressed in fine garments and precious jewels. She has a benign countenance, is in her full youth and yet has a motherly appearance. She sits upon an open lotus flower. In different myths she appears as the wife of several different Gods. Lakshmi’s association with so many different male deities and with the notorious fleetingness of good fortune earned her a reputation for fickleness and inconstancy. In one text she is said to be so unsteady that even in a picture she moves. She is also known as ‘Chanchala’, or the restless one. Her notorious fickleness has convinced her devotees that she may desert them at the slightest pretext, so they have devised numerous ingenious strategies to retain Lakshmi, and thus prosperity in their establishments. One such sect is known to offer only the worst clothing to Lakshmi; for they say, ‘It is much easier for Goddess Lakshmi to abandon our houses if she is dressed beautifully, rather than in the fabric we offer to her as garment’! Another story says that the main reason for why Shri-Lakshmi leaves our homes and businesses is that she cannot stand chaos and she will return when peace and harmony is restored... Now is the time to restore harmony in all levels of life, to clean up the dusty closets in your office as well as in your mind...and invite the abundant beauty of Laksmi back home again. She wil mirror to you a limitless universe of pure beauty, feed it with your intentions! |
